The Napa County Hispanic Network (NCHN) was established in 1983 by local Latino leaders of the community with the intent of being an information sharing alliance. The Network is involved in collaborating with public and private agencies on critical issues affecting the Latino community. Our mission includes promoting educational opportunities to local Latino youth by offering scholarships for advanced education. Since 1992, the Network has awarded scholarships to highly deserving students. Scholarship funds are acquired through private donations from local community members and businesses. The criteria are grade point average, financial need and community involvement.

Other critical areas of the NVHN Mission include: promoting leadership and educational opportunities for Latinos; developing and implementing strategies for responding to the needs of Latinos in the Community; establishing community partnerships and promote events that help to break down language/cultural barriers in the Community.

The Napa County Hispanic Network (NCHN), based in Napa, CA, is a non-profit 501c3 organization with an all volunteer team governed by a Board of Directors and supported by its members and donations from businesses and community organizations.
