Live Auction @ the Scholarship Banquet

Celebrate 25 years of community involvement at the Napa County Hispanic Network Scholarship Banquet on September 12. The live auction also gives bidders two fabulous opportunities to win a sit down for lunch with lawmakers -

First, State Senator Art Torres will join your party of four at Mustards Grill in Yountville. It's your chance to 'grill' our state senator while discussing news from Sacramento, giving him your opinions and enjoying Cindy Pawlcyn's delicious Mustard's Grill specialities ‹ baby back ribs, mile high lemon meringue pie, anyone?

Want to get the latest news from Washington D.C.? Congressman Mike Thompson and his wife Jane, will dine with you and 10 friends at Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen in St. Helena. Another of Cindy Pawlcyn's popular restaurants, Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen is known for its adventurous, international inspired cuisine ‹ the perfect setting to meet and talk with our hardworking, popular congressman.

Their will be five items up for raffle at the scholarship banquet. MENTORING PROGRAM

The Hispanic Network is proud join the efforts of the Napa County Office of Education to recruit mentors for some of the more at-risk youth in our County. We will be announcing more details of this new program in the next couple of weeks.

Los Lobos to perform at next year's Friends of the Network event!!!

Napa County Hispanic Network in collaboration with the Napa Valley Opera House is happy to invite you to our next January 9th Friends of the Network event January 9, 2008 with a special evening of “Los Lobos” artists; our pre-event will follow with the intimate presentation on stage. GANG FORUM
Please join us for a special meeting on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, from 6 to 8pm, for a community discussion on gangs. Our panel will include Law Enforcement and youth who's lives have been impacted by gang violence.
